- Should be adequate for learning. Its a bit behind the times and won't compile 32
- bit apps. Also most books are on the latest versions. I have a copy of VC++ 1.0
- but am using Watcom at the moment. I too am new to C++, having only developed
- stuff in Toolbook and BASIC.
